Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Mockup Studio, the website and the studio at this address. By creating an account or using the studio, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Mockup Studio turns screen recordings and screenshots into device mockup videos and images. The studio runs in your web browser: your files are decoded, rendered and encoded on your own computer, and are not uploaded to us.

Your account

You need an account to export. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. A Pro subscription is for one person: please do not share an account.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan costs nothing. Its videos carry a small watermark and its exports are limited to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
• The Pro plan costs $6 a month (plus tax where it applies) and renews every month until you cancel it.
• Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar's own terms apply to the purchase, and Polar handles invoices, taxes and payment details.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
• If something went wrong with a charge, write to us at support@mockappstudio.com and we will put it right. Refunds are issued through Polar.
• We may change the price. A new price applies to a subscription only from its next renewal after we have told you by email.

Your content

You keep every right to your recordings, screenshots, text and the videos and images you export. We never receive them. You are responsible for having the rights to what you put in your videos, and for how you use the results.

Fair use

Do not use Mockup Studio to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights, do not try to break into or overload the service, do not resell access to it, and keep the watermark on Free plan videos. We may suspend accounts that do these things.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Mockup Studio running and improving, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or retire features. If we ever shut the service down, we will tell subscribers in advance and stop charging them.

Ending your account

You can delete your account from your account page at any time, after canceling any subscription. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Your projects live in your browser and are not affected by either.

No warranty, limited liability

Mockup Studio is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and email account holders before the change takes effect.
